The plains of South Dakota offers a variety of beautiful scenery. This sunset photo was captured by Nicole Heitzman in eastern SD during the wheat harvest season. The straw bales contrasted against the hazy sunset sky is just one of the many simple beauties of the wide open spaces of the Midwest.
